Yaroslav "Miposhka" Naidenov, the captain of
Team Spirit, admitted that his team lost due to their drafts and inability to find a suitable response to
PSG Quest picks at the Riyadh Masters 2024. The esports player confessed that their strategies didn't work out.
The world champion commented on the team's elimination from the tournament in a new video published on the club's Telegram channel.
"Unfortunately, we lost to PSG Quest with a score of 2:1. We lost due to some ideas and drafts, unable to find suitable heroes for us. We couldn't come up with an answer to Sand King, especially on the third map. Plus, there was an incorrect rating of heroes. Our ideas just didn't work"
He stated that although the team was ready to compete with their opponents in terms of skill, they fell short in drafts that didn't work against
PSG Quest.
"I think we were more or less ready skill-wise. And we played and fought well on the third map. We just couldn't come up with anything. Our Ember Spirit was running around ****, and there was nothing we could do about it. It's not the first or the last time. We will keep playing, striving, developing, and working on our game"
The
Team Spirit captain assured that the team would continue to develop and work on themselves to improve their performance in Dota 2 tournaments.
Earlier, Denis "Larl" Sigityov stated that he discovered a new meta hero in Dota 2 at the Riyadh Masters 2024.
