Denis "Larl" Sigitov, the midlaner for Team Spirit, stated that their team discovered a new meta hero, which turned out to be Tiny.

The esports player shared this in a post-match interview at Riyadh Masters 2024.

"We thought that Tiny was a pretty good hero after the match against Liquid. In the group stage, he didn't have a very high win rate. Teams picked him, but they often lost. We also played against Tiny, and he wasn't a big problem. In the playoffs, we felt the strength of this hero; he has a lot of impact"

The pro player noted that Team Spirit initially considered Tiny not very useful, but changed their opinion after the match against Team Liquid. Larl said that the hero brings a lot of impact and can initiate fights first, which the world champion really liked.
