Alimzhan "Watson" Islambekov, carry of
Gaimin Gladiators, said that he is not going to even log into Dota 2 until The International 2025 is over.
The eSportsman said this during a stream on Twitch.
"Have you ever thought about becoming a pro CS player? Everything will happen now. They just asked me: "Why aren't you streaming?" I decided to stream. But I won't stream Dota. That's it. I won't log into it until The International is over. I have zero desire to play it"
Watson noted that he is going to play CS2, and after withdrawing from TI14, he has no desire to log into Dota 2 at all. He also noted that he might try to become a pro CS2 player. However, this was most likely an emotional statement, and it is unlikely that the carry decided to seriously end his career in Dota 2.
Recall that earlier Melchior "Seleri" Hillenkamp admitted that
Gaimin Gladiators delayed payments, but there is a nuance.
