Valve has released a minor update for Dota 2, in which the mechanics of displaying lobby information before the start of the match have been changed, rendering the use of Overplus useless.
This information was shared by a dataminer on his Telegram channel Dota Stepan.
The main innovation is the change in technical aspects of Dota 2. Now players cannot see who they will be playing with until the match is accepted. This change seems to be introduced to combat the Overplus tactic. Previously, this information allowed players to counter-pick against opponents based on their previous matches.

The full list of changes in the Dota 2 update includes:
Added a model for the magical version of
Divine RapierMatchmaking lobbies will no longer transmit information about the accounts of their participants until the lobby is accepted by all players.
Fixed some cases where
Revenants Brooch still allowed critical hits.
It's worth noting that Valve conducted a mass ban of accounts that used Overplus, blocking main Dota 2 accounts due to cheating.
