Team Spirit’s new captain removed from drafts, the reason revealed

Kamil “Koma” Biktimirov said that Team Spirit decided to remove Nikita “Panto” Balaganin, the new captain, from drafting duties, and now the picks are handled by Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk on his own initiative.

The club’s streamer talked about this during a Twitch broadcast.

According to him Yatoro himself expressed a desire to take over the drafts, so the team supported the idea and removed this responsibility from Panto. It is worth noting that this step was not a surprise and had been announced earlier by Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov.

The Team Spirit manager said that if Panto struggled with drafts, he would be removed from this role — which eventually happened. Koma also clarified that Yatoro was drafting even before BLAST Slam 6, and was already picking heroes at FISSURE Universe 8, where the team managed to reach the grand final.

Earlier, Yatoro also surprised fans by getting a tattoo with an unexpected character.
