Avery “SVG” Silverman called
Largo one of the worst Dota 2 heroes of the last decade, noting that playing him does not require any thinking at all.
The former esports player talked about this during the Last Free Nation DotA podcast on YouTube.
“I think Largo is the most brain-dead hero out of everyone that has been added to Dota in the last 10 years. I just want to say this before it becomes a hot take, this hero does not require decision making, so it’s a brain-dead hero to play. It’s just an ultimate blobfish, not a hero. You sit there like a blobfish. Your heal is a blobfish heal, your buff is a blobfish buff. You lick other players. Where is the brain work here?”
According to him, playing
Largo does not require any skill, or active actions on the map. As SVG believes, the core gameplay is simply running after teammates and healing them, or buffing them.
However, many players on the contrary believe that the hero is highly skill-dependent and requires precise and experienced button pressing, especially when using the ultimate ability.
