BC.Game will not compete in BC Game Masters

The BC.Game team will not participate in the BC Game Masters Counter-Strike 2 tournament due to Valve's ban.

The event organizers commented on the situation in X.

"Official statement from BC Game Masters. We have received questions about BC.Game and our tournament.

BC.Game and the tournament have different organizers. However, BC.Game will not participate in this event to avoid speculation. GG HF."

However, a Valve representative expressed a slightly different position in an interview with HLTV, noting that the developer sees no difference between the owners and sponsors of organizations, which is why BC.Game's participation in the tournament is unacceptable to the company.

"We do not differentiate between title sponsors of a team (when the team name includes the sponsor's name) and team owners, even if they are different organizations.

There are the following points:

We do not allow the title sponsor or brand of a team to be a sponsor of a tournament at any level.

We agree that the title sponsor of the tournament may be represented by teams to a lesser extent (logo on T-shirts).

Teams/sponsors may be hired by the tournament operator to provide certain services (arena or media company hired by that tournament operator), but these relationships must be made public."

Earlier, Shahar “Flamez” Shushan named BC.Game the most overrated team on the Counter-Strike 2 pro scene.
