Tn1r announced a change to the CS2 Major format

Andrey “Tn1r” Tatarinovich stated that he likes the Bo1 matches at the IEM Cologne Major, but that this format should be abandoned starting with the next event.

The player shared this opinion on Telegram.

“Hey guys, how’s it going? We’re at the Major, and the matches start tomorrow. I understand we’ll be facing off against the guys from BetBoom Team. Bo1 is an interesting format. Oh well, they’ll get rid of this nonsense starting with the next Major.”

According to Andrey “Tn1r” Tatarinovich, Team Spirit will kick off their run at the IEM Cologne Major with a match against BetBoom Team. It’s worth noting that the team is starting its run directly in the second stage of the tournament. The player didn’t elaborate on why the organizers are abandoning the Bo1 format, but this decision is likely tied to the tournament operator’s desire to level the playing field for the teams.

As a reminder, Team Spirit will begin their run at the IEM Cologne Major without a coach, as Dmitry “S0tF1k” Forostyanko and Sergey “hally” Shavaev have encountered issues attending the event.
