RodjER will replace Aramis in Old G until the end of the Dota Pro Circuit season

Vladimir «RodjER» Nikogosian will replace Adam «Aramis» Moroz in the Old G lineup until the end of the Dota Pro Circuit season.

Old G's manager, Zhanna Batkovna, stated:

Aramis left the game at the very start of the match between Old G and Nigma Galaxy at the Dota Pro Circuit. The team had to play the first map with four players, and they received a technical defeat in the second one.

PGL, the organizers of the Dota Pro Circuit in Western Europe, have not yet provided an official comment regarding the incident. According to the league's rules, a team is allowed to play with a replacement for only 2 games.

Last season, Old G got a technical loss and were disqualified due to a similar problem. Because of a furious comment from Sébastien «Ceb» Debs towards PGL, the DPC organizers took away the team's slot in the closed qualifiers. However, Old G bought a slot from PuckChamp and thus returned to the DPC.

This incident with Aramis differs from the previous season. Last time, Roman «Resolut1on» Fomynok was a stand-in in the BetBoom Team at ESL One Berlin Major 2023, and Kartik «Kitrak» Rathi played in OG instead of Evgenii «Chuvash» Makarov. Therefore, Old G was short of two players, and PGL rules allow only one replacement per match. Moreover, players knew about this rule before moving to other teams as replacements, and Old G had hoped for a match postponement in advance.

This time, there might have been an instance of unsportsmanlike conduct on the part of Aramis, who ultimately let down the entire team. Therefore, as a rare exception, PGL might have allowed Old G to complete the Dota Pro Circuit season with a replacement.
