Volodymyr «No[o]ne-» Minenko, Old G player, shared in a podcast with commentator Oleksii «STORM» Tumanov, the reasons why the team played with Vladimir «RodjER» Nikogosian as a standin instead of Adam «Aramis» Moroz during the match against IVY.
No[o]ne:
Truthfully, things are not as cheerful as they seem. Not in terms of results, but within the team. At one point, Aramis just messaged us, saying, "I'm leaving the team, goodbye". This happened after we took him into the core lineup.
This is incredibly shocking. This is the first time in my career that such a situation has occurred, where a player writes in Discord: "I'm leaving, I won't play any more games with you". In order to advance to the first division and play the qualifiers from the top slot, we need to play out the game with him, but he says he won't. I don't know what will happen. I hope he will come to his senses, like a reasonable person, and not behave primitively. He needs to understand that this is a team game, and if you make commitments, you should fulfill them. I really hope for at least that much.
No[o]ne added in the end that it is still unknown whether Old G will continue to play with RodjER as a substitute at DPC WEU 2023 Tour 3: Division II.
Old G roster:
- Volodymyr «No[o]ne-» Minenko;
- Topias «Topson» Taavitsainen;
- Sébastien «Ceb» Debs;
- Adam «Aramis» Moroz (?);
- Kartik «Kitrak» Rathi.
