Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev believes that cheaters should be punished, so he finds the developers' policy towards them justified. The esports player is also not overly concerned about the fate of players who have been banned unjustly.
The statement was made by
L1ga Team's carry player during a personal Twitch stream.
"You need to ban cheaters with no mercy if they were cheating. If not, I don't really care."
Valve has started mass banning Dota 2 player accounts for using third-party software called Overplus. The application, developed by an external company, provides players with various advantages, from changing skins to accessing extended statistics. Part of the Dota 2 community supported the developers' actions, but some opinion leaders, such as
Team Spirit manager Dmitry "Korb3n" Belov, called the sanctions against some players excessive. They argue that using Overplus solely for skin changes should not be punished as severely as manipulating statistics.

It's worth noting that earlier,
Gaimin Gladiators support player Eric "TOfu" Engel commented on the victory over
Team Spirit, stating that he had been looking forward to that match.
