Quantum have announced that they are disbanding their Dota 2 roster, as well as taking a break from the pro scene in this cybersport discipline after the scandalous incident with Dmitry “Lukas” Davydov.

This is reported in the official Telegram channel of the club.

"After a series of unsatisfactory results, the lineup: Lukas, Rvze, Ankou, Kolya_kaBAN68, Fezor - was completely disbanded. Lukas remained the only player in our organization around whom we planned to create a future roster.

We decided to test different rosters that we could potentially continue working with - that's why you could see different teams under our tag at different tournaments.

It is important to emphasize: nobody from Quantum knew about Lukas' intentions. He was under contract and we believed in his professional and honest approach to the competitive scene.

Immediately after the incident we first of all contacted the organizers to rule out any appearance of foul play on our part.

As of now, all lineups except Quantum Academy have disbanded and we are taking a short break from the competitive scene. We have always been and remain in favor of fair eSports"

It is noted that the roster failed to live up to expectations, so the organization decided to disband the roster. The situation was exacerbated by an incident with Lukas, who was suspected of 322, which caused the EPL to disqualify the team from the tournament.

The club has emphasized that it is taking a break from the pro scene for now, but will retain the Quantum Academy squad. It has not yet been specified when the organization plans to return.

Recall that the EPL had earlier disqualified the team after suspicions of foul play by Lukas, who later pleaded guilty.
