The organizers of the Eastern Pro League (EPL) decided to disqualify the
Quantum squad after suspicions of foul play. The reason for the sanctions was the behavior of the team captain - Dmitry “Lukas” Davydov.
“The Quantum team is disqualified from the EPL Season 27 tournament due to the fact of foul play on the part of player Dmitry ”Lukas" Davydov.
All collected information and evidence of fair play violations will be submitted to Valve, ESIC, and tournament operators will be informed. We urge the largest tournament operators to pay attention to this situation and take appropriate measures. We also appeal to all players to respect their opponents, observe cybersport ethics and adhere to the principles of fair play"
During the match against
4Pirates, the player repeatedly joked about 322, while bookmakers recorded suspicious activity and strange odds on the outcome of the meeting involving
Quantum.

Lukas issued a public apology to the organization and teammates after the game ended:
“I made a serious mistake by allowing myself ”black humor", banter and roofies on the topic of the game drain. It looked humiliating and destructive to the team. With my words and behavior I did not want to push anyone to certain actions, but in fact I sowed discord and negativity. I am ready to bear any punishment - up to exclusion from the squad"
Although the player himself did not admit to the 322, he stated his willingness to leave the team and acknowledged full responsibility for the behavior, which undermined the credibility of the team and the tournament. Team
Quantum also reported that Lukas is no longer a part of their squad, and they condemn the behavior of the former captain and are ready to help in the investigation.
Earlier, RAMZES666 suspected
Xtreme Gaming of similar behavior after the defeat of
Team Spirit at PGL Wallachia Season 5.
