Many Dota 2 esports organizations are already gearing up for potential participation in the new esports championship in Riyadh.
Peter "ppd" Dager, the Dota 2 world champion, revealed this information in a Twitter post.
"Rostermania is in full swing. Serious roster shuffles have begun in Western European teams, with some even disbanding. Add to this the excitement of new clubs emerging due to the news of the world championship in Riyadh in the summer of 2024"
Rumors of massive reshuffles in teams after The International 2023 are already circulating. Some are even claiming the disbandment of Shopify Rebellion.
It should be noted that in the summer of 2024, a new world championship for esports disciplines, including Dota 2, is set to take place in Saudi Arabia, which could potentially replace The International.
