Natus Vincere announced the transition of their Dota 2 roster to inactive status due to roster formation issues.
The statement was published on the club's official website.
The decision is related to NAVI's inability to assemble a competitive roster of permanent players. Stand-ins who assisted the team at various tournaments and qualifiers are no longer working with the organization. The team expressed gratitude to the esports players for their collaboration, but they were unable to find replacements.
Natus Vincere turned to stand-ins after failing to qualify for The International 2024. The substitutes included Miroslav "BOOM" Bican, Bozidar "bzm" Bogdanov, Clement "Puppey" Ivanov, and Yuriy "pma" Prots from NAVI Junior.
However, despite the presence of well-known players and decent results during the qualifiers, the club failed to impress with their tournament performances.
It is possible that NAVI may fully exit Dota 2 to focus on their CS2 roster, but no official plans regarding such a move have been announced by the club yet.
Recall that earlier, Artur "Arteezy" Babaev publicly urged players to quit Dota 2, harshly criticizing Valve.
