Arthur "Arteezy" Babaev, the former carry of
Shopify Rebellion, urged players to quit Dota 2 due to the terrible state of the Valve project.
The esports athlete made this public statement during a Twitch stream.
"I feel sorry for everyone who is planning to play Dota 2 professionally. Valve doesn’t care about the game; matchmaking is in the worst state it's ever been. People would rather scrim all day than play public matches. Nobody wants to queue for matchmaking because you have to pick meta heroes for mid and carry, or else you’ll lose. And even then, your chance of winning is only 50% because there will be some **** on your team. You’re better off finding something else to do with your time. Get out while you can. Dota is terrible"
According to the Dota 2 legend, the game is in a miserable state, especially concerning matchmaking balance. He highlighted issues with teammate selection and the necessity of meta heroes, without which winning a public match is nearly impossible.
He noted that Valve is not responding to the situation, which is why he urged players to leave Dota 2, claiming it isn't worth the time invested.
Recall that earlier, Miroslav "Mira" Kolpakov stated that he might not return to the professional Dota 2 scene.
