Maelstorm named the two main contenders for victory at the Riyadh Masters 2024

Vladimir "Maelstorm" Kuzminov, a Dota 2 commentator, believes that the main battle for victory at the Riyadh Masters 2024 will be between Team Spirit and Team Falcons. According to him, the outcome will depend on whether the teams have adapted to the new patch.

He shared his prediction on his Telegram channel.

"Falcons are definitely the main contender for victory. As well as, possibly, the main disappointment. Have they found something in the new patch, or will it be a resounding failure and the end of an era? I think it will be neither, but we will definitely be watching this team's games"

In Maelstorm's opinion, Team Falcons can be considered one of the main favorites for victory at the Riyadh Masters 2024, but their results could be significantly affected by the current patch 7.36c. Nevertheless, according to the commentator, Team Spirit also has excellent chances and is clearly aiming for victory.

"Spirit, where there's money, there's their skill) I think this team will show their favorite Dota and are as strong as ever. For them, there's only first place"

He also included Team Liquid, Gaimin Gladiators, BetBoom Team, and of course Xtreme Gaming in the list of tournament favorites. However, he clarified that Team Liquid and Gaimin Gladiators are unlikely to achieve results higher than second place.

It is worth noting that Maelstorm previously hinted that one of the teams might not qualify for The International 2024.
