Dyrachyo talked about up to which rank Dota 2 remains enjoyable

Anton “Dyrachyo” Shkredov said that after reaching 7,000 MMR in Dota 2, the fun ends because people only think about raising their rank.

The esports player talked about this during a broadcast on Twitch.

“People don't play Dota for fun. If you have more than 7,000 MMR, you're not allowed to have fun in Dota. It's very upsetting”

Dyrachyo said that you can only enjoy playing Dota 2 until you reach the Immortal top rank. Once a player exceeds 7,000 MMR, their teammates no longer allow them to have fun, because everyone wants to continue earning rating points.

The esports player probably also wanted to say that most pro players don't actually enjoy the game, because they perceive matches exclusively as a serious activity and part of their career. It is possible that this pressure was one of the reasons why Dyrachyo decided to leave the Dota 2 pro scene.
