dpc week 1 results
The first week of the Winter season of Dota Pro Circuit 2021/2022 has ended. Despite the expectations of fans, the games were not so spectacular and interesting, and sometimes completely boring and one-sided. Below are the results of the first week of the DPC.

Western Europe

Puppey

Division I

  • Alliance 0 - 2 Tundra Esports
  • Team Secret 0 - 2 OG
  • Team Liquid 2 - 0 Coolguys
  • Nigma Galaxy 0 - 2 Team Tickles
  • Alliance 0 - 2 Team Secret
Alliance has become the biggest disappointment in Europe. After the reshuffles, the new roster lost both series. The match against Tundra Esports was the most painful. Tundra defeated opponents twice with the same heroes.

After being defeated by Team Secret, fans had a lot of questions for Alliance. It became obvious that new players cannot play at the same level. Also, the audience was not at all pleased with the game and the Nikobaby itembuildings.

Secret decided not to try hard against the new OG roster. The first map of the series seemed somehow absurd already at the draft stage. And although Puppey' team tried in the second map, they could not cope with the pressure of the young players.

Team Liquid, where MATUMBAMAN and zai moved, decided to show Coolguys roster what the DPC First Division is. Both maps ended in 25+ minutes with a crushing score.

Nigma Galaxy were left without their main player - Miracle. He missed the first game of the season. This was a chance for Team Tickles. And they took full advantage of it, ending the streak 2-0 in their favor.

Division II

  • Brame 2 - 1 Entity
  • No Bounty Hunter 0 - 2 Team Bald Reborn
  • Chicken Fighters 2 - 0 Ghost Frogs
  • CHILLAX 2 - 0 Into The Breach
  • Brame 2 - 0 Team Bald Reborn
Brame, which played in the Upper Division last season, are expected to lead Div II. In addition, this week they had to play two series, which brought them to the top of the list.

Eastern Europe

RuHub

Division I

  • Team Empire 0 - 2 AS Monaco Gambit
  • Natus Vincere 0 - 2 PuckChamp
  • Team Spirit 2 - 0 Team Unique
  • PuckChamp 2 - 0 AS Monaco Gambit
  • Virtus.pro 1 - 2 HellRaisers
PuckChamp became the surprise of the season. The team won two series 2-0 and became the leader of the first division in CIS.

But the roster of Natus Vincere, which was assembled before The International 2021 and is currently at the bootcamp, lost to PuckChamp without a chance.

AS Monaco Gambit defeated Team Empire without any problems, but also lost to PC roster.

TI10 champions faced Team Unique in their first match of the new DPC season. The support of Team Spirit, Miroslav «Mira» Kolpakov, humorously answered the question of the hosts, referring to the recent news about the transfer of Unique roster:

What is Team Unique's weakness? The fact that their CEO is a rap singer. I believe this is the main weakness

A surprise was the match between HellRaisers and Virtus.pro. The new HR roster, which was gathered by the new sports director of the organization Maria «Inverno» Gunina, against the renewed VP roster, without Nightfall and Save-. The new HellRaisers coach, Alexander «nofear» Churochkin, simply outplayed his opponents at the draft stage, and the players just finished what they started. Virtus.pro had problems with drafts before, and the change of players obviously didn't solve anything.

Division II

  • Gambit Esports 2 - 0 B8
  • CIS Rejects 2 - 0 Nemiga Gaming
  • V-Gaming 2 - 1 Fantastic Five
  • Winstrike Team 0 - 2 HYDRA
  • B8 0 - 2 CIS Rejects
The second division in the EEU was no less interesting, but predictable. As expected, CIS Rejects won two matches. And Dendi risks losing the DPC slot with such results.

China

China

Division II

  • CDEC Gaming 0 - 2 Sparking Arrow Gaming
  • Team MagMa 2 - 0 Neptune Gaming
  • Neptune Gaming 0 - 2 Ybb Gaming
  • ShenZhen 2 - 1 Sparking Arrow Gaming
  • CDEC Gaming 0 - 2 Team MagMa
  • ShenZhen 2 - 0 Neptune Gaming
  • Aster.Aries 2 - 0 Ybb Gaming
  • Neptune Gaming 0 - 2 Xtreme Gaming
  • ShenZhen 1 - 2 Aster.Aries
  • Sparking Arrow Gaming 1 - 2 Team MagMa
The matches of Division I in China have been postponed. Therefore, until the end of the year, spectators will only have watch the second division. However, this makes them no less interesting.

The new Xtreme Gaming roster with Paparazi, Dy and Pyw only played one game this week.

Team MagMa became the leader of the group with three victories. They were followed by the renewed Aster.Aries roster, which won two series. Despite the fact that Liu «White丶Album» Yuhao missed matches due to illness.

Neptune Gaming, which got a DPC slot from Royal Never Give Up, has big problems. They have lost four series and are the outsiders of the division.

Southeast Asia

SEA

Division I

  • TNC Predator 0 - 2 T1
  • Execration 0 - 2 Motivate.Trust Gaming
  • OB.Neon 0 - 2 BOOM Esports
  • Fnatic 0 - 2 Team SMG
  • TNC Predator 0 - 2 Motivate.Trust Gaming
The "0-2" week in Southeast Asia was started by T1 team, which defeated the new TNC Predator roster. The fight between Motivate.Trust Gaming and Execration ended according to the same scenario, where MTG defeated opponents without a chance.

The match OB.Neon vs BOOM Esports was more interesting, especially the second map. Neon was lead, and after Roshan they took the Aegis and on 20 min decided to go to the enemy's base. However, thanks to the skill of Yopaj- on Templar Assassin and his team, BOOM Esports were able to kill OB.Neon heroes. After 10 minutes of calm, a fight on Roshan and ultrakill for Yopaj. Neon couldn't do anything and lost.

Both maps in Fnatic vs Team SMG match ended similarly: MidOne on Luna just farmed his items and destroyed the base.

TNC Predator really didn't want to lose the second match in a week, but Motivate.Trust Gaming was stronger.

Division II

  • Nigma Galaxy SEA 2 - 0 496 Gaming
  • Ragdoll 2 - 0 Army Geniuses
  • Lilgun 2 - 0 InterActive Philippines
  • Polaris Esports 2 - 1 Talon Esports
  • 496 Gaming 0 - 2 Army Geniuses
The results of Division II would be similar, if not for the match Polaris Esports vs Talon Esports. Suddenly Fly and his team lost 1-2 to the Philippine squad.

North America

JerAx

Division I

  • Quincy Crew 2 - 0 simply TOOBASED
  • Team Undying 2 - 0 Wildcard Gaming
  • 4 Zoomers 2 - 1 Black N Yellow
  • Evil Geniuses 2 - 0 Arkosh Gaming
  • Quincy Crew 2 - 1 4 Zoomers
No surprises. All matches of the first week were predictable. And the top 3 are still the same as last season: Evil Geniuses, Quincy Crew and Team Undying. However, only Undying did not change their lineup.

The match between Evil Geniuses and Arkosh Gaming was really interesting. Nightfall's debut in EG and JerAx's return to competitive Dota 2 can be considered a success. On the other hand, we finally got to know who the Arkosh Gaming players are. BSJ, Kyle, monkeys-forever, Newsham and Jenkins - who know these names found it doubly interesting to watch this match.

Division II

  • 5ManMidas 2 - 1 felt
  • Team Magnus 2 - 1 Electronic Boys
  • KBU.US 2 - 0 Team DogChamp
  • 5RATFORCESTAFF 1 - 2 The Cut
  • Team Magnus 1 - 2 felt
New DPC members in America, KBU.US and Team Magnus, have already shown themselves in matches. However, the situation in the division remains unclear.

South America

4D

Division I

  • INF.UESPORTS 0 - 2 Thunder Predator
  • NoPing e-sports 2 - 0 Hokori
  • beastcoast 2 - 0 APU King of Kings
  • Lava 1 - 2 APU King of Kings
  • Thunder Predator 2 - 0 Hokori
Despite the global reshuffle in South America, there are still the same teams in the top of the division. The new Thunder Predator roster confidently won the matches against INF.UESPORTS and Hokori.

NoPing also defeated Hokori without any problems, but beastcoast had to try in a match against APU King of Kings. The former TP roster, now Lava, couldn't defeat APUKoK.

Division II

  • Team Unknown 0 - 2 Infinity
  • Interitus 2 - 0 Inverse
  • Omega Gaming 0 - 2 Gorillaz-Pride
  • Wolf Team 1 - 2 Balrogs
  • Team Unknown 0 - 2 Inverse
Team Unknown had a bad start. Two lost series at once. If the situation repeats in the second week, they will find themselves on the bottom. But last season they were participants in the upper division of SA.
