A brief gameplay video of Valve's new game called Deadlock has been released online. The game will largely resemble a MOBA, specifically Dota 2.
Based on the video, the project will be a blend of action, shooter, and MOBA in a fantasy steampunk style. Currently, there are 19 heroes known, each with unique appearances and abilities. An important mechanic will be the destruction of creeps, similar to how it works in Dota 2. Heroes will need to destroy enemy creeps to gain experience and currency.
It's worth noting that this won't be just a shooter, as each available hero has four unique abilities that can impact not only enemies but also allies, significantly affecting matches.
However, Valve has not made official announcements about Deadlock yet, so many details about the game could change by the time of its release.
Previously, the first screenshots of Valve's new project surfaced online, combining gameplay elements from Dota 2, Team Fortress, and other company projects.
