Dan “Apex” Madeskler admitted that he is thinking about retiring from professional Counter-Strike 2, but now is not the best time for such a decision.
The player made this statement on YouTube.
“As you get older, you start thinking about retiring. I’m 33, and I’ve been playing CS for 20 years. At some point, I’ll have to stop. But, of course, when you’re winning so much, it’s not the best time.
I want to end my career at the right moment. Definitely not during a winning streak. If you end your career after winning a tournament, you’ll have regrets. But I’ll do everything I can to keep winning. We’ll see how it turns out.”
According to Dan “Apex” Madeskler, the esports player does not want to leave the pro scene at the peak of his career, as he believes he might regret such a decision. The player also noted that he wants to leave Counter-Strike 2 at the right moment, but for now, he intends to do everything possible to keep winning.
As a reminder, Dan “Apex” Madeskler previously commented on the harsh remarks directed at Lotan “Spinx” Giladi, who was formerly the esports player’s teammate.
