Wildcard and 4Zoomers set a new Dota 2 professional esports record by playing the fastest official match in the history of the game. The match lasted for 6 minutes and 4 seconds until 4Zoomers decided to forfeit.
This unique “achievement” was recorded during the closed qualifiers for the NA region of DreamLeague Season 26. 4Zoomers decided to surrender as a full squad while trailing 3:10 and 4.5k gold. This means the game ended well before the 6-minute mark, shattering the last record of 6 minutes and 34 seconds.
Participants of the tournament and organizers of the match did not offer any commentary regarding the odd circumstance during the DreamLeague Season 26 Qualifiers.
Earlier, a Dota 2 legend and champion of The International teased about a return to professional gaming.
