Valve may still release a Dota 2 patch next week: the reason has been revealed

Valve may release a gameplay patch for Dota 2 next week, since despite the start of the Quartero's Curios event, updates on the test servers are still continuing.

This discovery was shared by fans of the game on Reddit.

They noticed that, even with the event started, activity on the test servers hasn’t stopped. Updates keep coming, which could indirectly indicate that the developers are preparing to add more content to the game or release a letter patch.

Many hope that this will happen next week. The most likely dates mentioned are December 19 or 22. Allegedly, there is a chance the patch will come out only after the end of DreamLeague Season 27.
