The unexpected reason for Team Spirit's failures at tournaments has been revealed

Dota 2 analyst Dmitry "Inmate" Filinov has claimed that the reason behind Team Spirit poor performances is the lack of an increase in the team’s hero pool since The International 2023.

He made these statements on a Twitch stream.

"The problem with Team Spirit is this. The team won the Riyadh Masters and The International. Since then, nothing has changed in their drafts. The same heroes. The last time Spirit played against Gaimin Gladiators with a similar draft. Back then, they shut down Dyrachyo with Dark Willow and Enchantress. Nothing has changed since then"

This means that world champions have been using same heroes for more than six months already therefore making themselves highly predictable during games. Inmate believes that this is one of Team Spirit major problems as far as last year’s championships winners are concerned because they do not have any news flash into drafting strategies.
