FISSURE CEO Nikolai Vesnin provided an update on the progress of repaying debts owed to clubs and players in Dota 2 and CS2.
The CEO’s statement is available on the official website.
He acknowledged mistakes in the company’s commercial and financial planning that led to the accumulation of debt. According to him, repayments began in the summer of 2026: about half of the debt for CS2 has already been repaid, and the first wave of payments for Dota 2 began in October.
FISSURE expects to carry out the next major phase of debt repayment in the first quarter of 2027. To this end, the studio is working on new commercial agreements and is directing available funds from past tournaments toward repayments. At the same time, the company intends to continue organizing esports events, as they remain its primary source of revenue. Vesnin promised to publicly report on progress in the first quarter of 2027.
