Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naydenov, the captain of
Team Spirit, announced that after the completion of The International 2025 he will go on inactive for some time, because he was going to do it last year, but could not.
The two-time Dota 2 World Champion revealed this in a post-match interview at the Riyadh Masters 2025.
"I wanted to take a break after the previous TI, but I realized that some players were going to take a vacation too. It seemed to me that if I left too - it wasn't really clear at all who would then be left there to play"
He recalled that he wanted to take a break after TI13, but too many players had already gone on vacation and he didn't want to break up the team. Now, Miposhka noted, he will almost certainly go on vacation at least for a while, as fatigue has accumulated.
"Already, of course, a little bit of fatigue in general. I think this time the probability that I will rest for at least some period of time is 99 percent"
He didn't specify exactly how long he plans to leave, but it's likely that the champion's vacation could last a few months after The International 2025. Also, the player has not yet told who will replace him in
Team Spirit during the absence.
Recall, earlier Miroslav “Mira” Kolpakov named the real reason for
Aurora departure from the Riyadh Masters 2025.
