Myroslav “Mira” Kolpakov, support for
Aurora, stated that the reason for their loss to
PARIVISION was the drafts: their opponents made strong bans and picked a truly overpowered hero of the patch.
The esports player shared this in an interview with Taverna.GG.
“I wouldn’t say the problem was Phantom Assassin. That was just our last decent response to carry Sven. Everything else was banned, and they made very good bans — they removed Ursa and Troll. We had no other choice, so we went with that. Obviously, the issue wasn’t Phantom Assassin — they just had a draft with Chen and Dazzle that no hero could really deal damage into.
We thought we should’ve picked Ancient Apparition instead of Pugna to at least have some kind of mechanic against all that healing. But we got scared of going into a lane against Marci and Dazzle with that setup, so we picked Pugna. We actually did okay in the lane, but it was still incredibly hard to play against such a busted draft”
Mira noted that
PARIVISION completely outdrafted them, making lane phase extremely difficult. He also admitted that they had no chance against
Sven, especially considering their opponent’s effective bans.
Despite the loss, Mira said he was proud of his teammates and felt they were very close to achieving the result they wanted. The two-time Dota 2 world champion believes the team’s mentality and synergy have improved significantly, and he’s confident they will perform much better at The International 2025.
He also thanked the fans for their support and encouraged them to keep believing in
Aurora, saying the team still has much to show.
Earlier, Mira had also criticized
Team Spirit after their triumph at Riyadh Masters 2025.
