Miroslav «Zont1x» Plakhotya stated that the former
Team Spirit captain Leonid «Chopper» Vishnyakov had to be kicked from the CS2 lineup, because he had issues that prevented him from showing good individual performance and affected the overall results of the team.
The new team leader said this during an interview with HLTV.
“Yes, I think Chopper got a bit tired, because he has been playing for a long time. He has individual problems that interfere with his practice. So this change was necessary. Plus the organization needs to make changes to achieve better results and so that donk does not leave, so it was necessary”
Zont1x also noted that the organization had to make roster changes in order not to lose Danil «donk» Kryshkovets. According to him, if the team results continued to be not very successful, the star player could have thought about moving to another club.
The new captain did not specify what exactly the problems were, but emphasized that they interfered with Chopper’s training in CS2.
Earlier Valve reacted to the mass bans of players in CS2, stepping in to handle the situation.
