The fact is that Magnus is Collapse's signature hero, as the two-time Dota 2 world champion is considered one of the best, if not the best, Magnus players. Moreover, the esports player has consistently demonstrated top-level performance on Magnus during The International matches.

This was likely a hint to their opponents that Team Spirit is serious and will be fighting at full strength, as they aim to win the TI championship for the third time.
