William "Blitz" Lee, the coach of
Team Liquid, admitted that he was borrowing ideas from 1win during The International 2024.
He shared this in a new interview posted on the YouTube channel.
"I have mixed feelings about 1win. I think this team can play better than they did at TI13. I don’t know what happened to them, but I still have high hopes for this team. Neta has his own methods of understanding Dota, so I can’t speak for him, but as for me, I just steal ideas. And I took a lot from 1win"
He emphasized that he believes
1win Team is a truly promising team and is surprised they didn’t show more impressive results in the tournament, though they had the potential to do so. According to Blitz, he borrowed many interesting ideas from them, but not all of them were implemented during the tournament. This was due to Neta "33" Shapira's own vision of the game, leading to the adoption of different strategies.
It's worth noting that
Team Liquid recently made a bold statement about Ivan "Pure" Moskalenko.
