Talon Esports responds to allegations of unpaid prize money to players

Talon Esports has acknowledged the esports organization's financial problems, promising to pay all prize money debts to both former and current players in the near future.
The statement was made on X.
"We acknowledge the recent allegations regarding our financial situation. Talon takes governance issues seriously, and we want to resolve the issues responsibly and transparently.
Our operations remain stable, but we would like to acknowledge that there have been unforeseen delays in prize payments. We understand that this may cause concern for our players, and we have taken active steps to resolve this issue. All outstanding amounts will be transferred to former Talon players by September 6, 2025, and to current players by September 30, 2025. We regret the delay and sincerely apologize to our players for the inconvenience caused."
Although
Talon Esports representatives acknowledged the problems with prize money payments, the organization emphasized that its obligations to pay players' salaries are being fulfilled in full. The esports club stressed that active work is currently underway to resolve the financial issues, promising fans that it will provide information as the situation develops.
"We would like to reiterate that our commitment to the well-being of our players remains paramount, and to date, all salaries have been paid to players in full.
We are working closely with our legal and financial advisors to resolve the financial issues.
Our responsibility to our players, fans, partners, and the entire esports community is of paramount importance to us. We appreciate the patience and support of our community during this process and will provide further updates as appropriate."
Earlier, an investor going by the nickname Hedgedhog accused
Talon Esports of failing to pay interest on its debt, hinting at serious financial problems within the organization.
