Solo revealed the real reason he left Team Yandex

Alexey “Solo” Berezin, former captain of Team Yandex, said that leaving the team was his decision because he wanted to focus on his streams.

He announced this during a broadcast on Twitch:

"I made this decision. I need to focus on myself, on my streams, and commentate on TI14. Then I'll look at the reshuffle, see what happens, and think about whether it's worth returning or staying a full-time streamer. Overall, there's nothing to say, it's my decision"

He noted that there were no preconditions for his departure from the club, and the decision to leave the team he had assembled himself was entirely personal. Solo is still considering whether to return to the Dota 2 pro scene after The International 2025, as he wants to focus on streaming.

As a reminder, Solo unexpectedly left Team Yandex earlier, which came as a surprise to the Dota 2 community.
