Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev stated that he no longer aspires to win The International tournament due to the reduction in the prize pool and the tournament's less important status than at the beginning of his career.
The player made this statement on Twitch.
"My dream was to win The International, or to become a sucessful Dota player. Like, you know, one of the two. It's like I didn't win The International, but overall, it's okay. I dreamed about The International and the “plate,” that's for sure. But times have changed, guys. The International isn't the same anymore. Even the ‘plate’ isn't as tasty. Even the prize money at The International isn't as tasty."
Acording to Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev, as a child he really dreamed of winning The International tournament and wanted to make his mark in esports history as a successful Dota 2 player. Although the esports player did not manage to win TI, he has no regrets, considering his career to be quite successful.
Earlier, Roman “RAMZES” Kushnarev predicted Kirill “Hellscream” Lagutik's transfer to
Virtus.pro.
