Klement “Puppey” Ivanov said that he does not rule out another attempt to assemble his team, but noted that
Team Secret is currently unable to provide funding to maintain its Dota 2 roster.
The player made this statement on YouTube.
“Many teams are asking me to coach them. Many. I'm still not sure if I like it or not. Maybe I'll try to put together a team again.
Team Secret is currently unable to maintain its roster.”
Acording to Clement “Puppey” Ivanov, there is no point in the organization financing a team that does not even qualify for major tournaments. The esports player also noted that he has never seen the point in playing for an organization solely for money, although for some players who want a stable salary, this option may be aceptable.
"With the amounts that organizations are currently paying in Dota, there is no point in maintaining a small, damaged team that will be a collection of players unable to compete in tournaments. It makes no sense. I have a feeling that it never made sense. Personally, for me. For others who wanted to get somewhere and earn a salary, of course it made sense. I would have done the same in their place."
Earlier, Clement “Puppey” Ivanov recounted how Michal “Nisha” Jankowski joined
Team Secret's Dota 2 roster.
