Puppey expressed his honest opinion about ATF

Clément “Puppey” Ivanov said that he is not offended by Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf's provocative behavior in Dota 2 matchmaking, as he considers the player to be very calm in real life and regards his harsh manner of comunication in ranked matches as a characteristic of an esports player's personality.

He shared this opinion on YouTube.

"Everyone thinks he was picking on me, but no, bro. This guy always talks like that. You just don't know him. This is Ammar's normal behavior. You'll see this many more times. It had nothing to do with me, but people thought, ‘Wow, he's attacking Puppey.’ He'll always do stuff like this, don't even bother getting upset about it. I've talked to him many times — he's incredibly calm."

Acording to Clement “Puppey” Ivanov, a person's behavior on the internet and in real life can be very diferent. The esports player believes that Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf simply likes to provoke people into emotional reactions and considers this a harmless trait of an esports player, which he does not view negatively. Moreover, Puppey considers ATF to be a very kind person who just sometimes likes to show the rough edges of his character in online communication.

"Your online persona can be different from your real one, right? It's just an online thing — he baits you into getting emotional. He just likes it. Guys like that enjoy baiting you into threatening them. They find it funny. I don't have anything negative to say about him. He's a very kind guy. He just likes to be harsh sometimes, you know? He likes to do that kind of nonsense. Let him do it. What do you expect from him? Get over it, guys."
