Vladislav "Petushara" Kozlovsky, a streamer and esports player, stated that in patch 7.36, Valve should address the issue of artificially prolonging matches by removing a couple of camps from the map.
He mentioned this during a commentary for Dota2.ru.
"In terms of cosmetics, the patch is cool, but we want gameplay changes too, and they promised a new hero. There's a pressing need for map changes; matches are artificially prolonged, and high ground pushes shouldn't be so difficult. There's too much farming on the map; I think a couple of camps could definitely be removed"
According to him, the farming phase is currently too drawn out, so Valve could consider removing a couple of camps from the map in the new patch. Additionally, pushing high ground is very difficult, which also leads to very long battles. Furthermore, players are expecting the previously announced Ring Master to refresh the meta.
Recall that Valve released the Crownfall update, but it lacked gameplay changes and the new hero that the Dota 2 community was eagerly awaiting.
