Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov, a streamer and former esports player, mocked Games of the Future 2024, emphasizing that despite decent organization and a significant amount of money spent, the event lacked external appeal. Furthermore, he compared the commentator studio to adult films.

He made these remarks during a Twitch broadcast, commenting on the start of the Dota 2 tournament.

"You can create a normal or even a cool product but forget to package it nicely. You look at the Future Games... They made an event there, invited a bunch of people, blah-blah-blah. But then you look at the studio presenting all this to the audience in the end. And it looks like some 3 by 3 meters, and people are somehow cramped in there. Some black couch, and it looks like a casting, you know what kind of casting, in short"

He emphasized that the commentator studio clearly does not meet the fans' expectations. Moreover, he made a derogatory comparison of the studio to a casting room in a well-known series of programs for adults.
