Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov, streamer and former esports player, stated that Valve will not be shutting down Dota 2 servers anytime soon, but it is likely to happen by 2034.
He shared this during a Twitch stream.
"Everything depends on Valve. If they do nothing, I predict that Dota has about ten years left. Actually, even 9.5 years"
According to his predictions, the game's future relies on Valve, but the streamer believes that the developers have abandoned the game. He thinks that the MOBA will last a maximum of 10 more years, possibly even less. NS pointed out that Dota 2 needs advertising because there's a shortage of new players, leading to stagnation in both the pro scene and public games.
Although Valve hasn't provided long-term forecasts for the game's support, it's possible the game could survive until 2034.
