Niku named his idol in Dota 2

Artem “Niku” Bachkur named Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen as his idol, whom the esports player looked up to at the beginning of his career on the Dota 2 pro scene.

The player made this statement in an interview with Esportsbet.

“I liked Topson the most — he's just the best! I looked up to him and wanted to reach his level.”

At the same time, Artem “Niku” Bachkur noted that his approach to playing Dota 2 is more reminiscent of the gameplay of Denis ‘Larl’ Sigitov and Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potoraka, but he still considers Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen to be his idol. The player also highlighted the achievements of Said “SumaiL” Hassan, but noted that this player is currently showing a sharp decline in his level of preparation.

"I think my style is more like Malr1ne and Larl. But my main idol is Topson. And of course, SumaiL, who won The International at my age. But now he's playing worse than the others."

Earlier, Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov assessed Natus Vincere's chances of winning the Riyadh Masters 2025 Dota 2 tournament.
