Miroslav "Mira" Kolpakov believes that it was his mistake that cost
Team Spirit the victory on the second map in the match against
Xtreme Gaming at BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024. He took full responsibility for the end of the winning streak of 21 matches.
The esports player recorded a video message and published it on the official Telegram channel of the club.
"Hello, our series against Xtreme has ended, we played a draw. We won the first map without a chance there, based on the draft and how we played. In the second pick, it was also super, I believe we could have won very easily; we just somehow played below our level, lost focus"
Mira noted that his team played the first map excellently and clearly dominated in terms of hero drafts. However, the second map was not as successful, and it was on that map that the champions ended their winning streak of 21 matches.
"Especially, I got a bit greedy there: I didn't go to Roshan right away, lost the fight at that Roshan, and after that, it was hard for us to come back somehow. And then we took a couple of bad fights, exposed ourselves; in general, we just played unfocused and lost. I take the blame on myself, lost in solo. Until next time"
The esports player admitted that his mistake with Roshan could have cost
Team Spirit the victory. According to him, right after that moment, his team couldn't make a comeback in the game. As a result, the match ended with a score of 1:1.
