Miposhka spoke about his role as captain of Team Spirit

Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov said that he took on the role of captain and drafter for Team Spirit's Dota 2 roster because he already had relevant experience with Team Empire.

The player announced this on Twitch.

"I joined Empire as a four. I came to play in a position that I didn't want to play. I played, and then we reached a point where we were short a five, so they offered me the five position and asked me to find a four. I agreed and started playing as a five. Some time passed, and they realized that someone needed to draft, pick, and captain. They said to me, “Yarik, how about you be the captain and draft? You're playing in the five position anyway, and there's no one else to draft.” I agreed and played that way.

Then I joined Spirit. Initially, they didn't ask me to be the captain or the drafter because we were so bad. Time passed, we played in this format and decided to part ways with it. A situation arose where we didn't understand who the drafter and captain were. They said that, as it turned out, it was me, because I had the most experience and played the most. And I agreed. That's how it went."

According to Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov, he was initially invited to join Team Spirit exclusively as a fifth position support, while the captain's duties fell to Vitaly “so bad” Oshmankevich. However, after his departure from the team, confusion arose, and the vacant roles fell to Miposhka due to his relevant experience.

We would like to remind you that earlier, Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov called for a change in the rules of Dota 2 tournaments.
