Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naydenov said he would like coaches to be allowed to stay with the team during Dota 2 matches at tournaments, just like it is allowed in CS2.
The two-time world champion shared this during a Twitch stream.
“Basically, you know how it is in CS, right? In CS the coach is always standing behind the players, correct? And honestly, I don’t really understand why Dota doesn’t have the same thing. I think it would be interesting to see. Then the role of the coach would really become even more relevant. And in general, the coach could actually have some kind of impact. I think it would be a pretty normal thing”
The former
Team Spirit captain said he does not understand the ban on coaches being present in the team booth during Dota 2 matches. According to him, in CS2 the coach stands behind the players and can directly influence the situation.
In Miposhka’s opinion, this should also be allowed in Dota 2, which would increase the value of the coach’s role and significantly change the matches themselves at tournaments.
Earlier, the
Team Spirit manager openly shared his opinion on Puppey as a coach.
