Chinese carry player Lin "Doodle" Ziyikai revealed the amounts he was offered to participate in match-fixing schemes in the second division of the Dota Pro Circuit. His words were quoted in a tweet from the CN Dota In A Nutshell account.
Doodle said there’s still a lot of CN div2 DPC players didn’t get banned even tho they have been involved in match fixing, but since he didn’t do any of those things so he’s not afraid of exposing it
Doodle noted that many players from the second division in China earn money this way, but he himself has never been involved in such schemes. Perfect World, the Chinese publisher of Dota 2, is aware of all the suspects, but without irrefutable evidence, they cannot punish potential rule violators. According to Doodle, he was offered 50,000 to 100,000 yuan (just under $7,000 to $14,000) for one fixed match.
Recall that Doodle stated that during the DPC CN 2023 Tour 3: Division II, more than half of the players were involved in match-fixing.
