The fifteenth annual The International Dota 2 tournament (TI15) will take place from August 13 to 23, 2026, in Shanghai, China. The tournament will begin with the Road to The International stage, featuring a Swiss-system format before the start of the main event. The playoffs will be held at the Oriental Sports Center with a live audience.
Valve, in partnership with PGL, is organizing this offline tournament, which will feature 16 teams from around the world. Following their victory at TI14, Team Spirit will enter the event as the reigning world champion and defend its title at TI15.
The tournament will feature a $1.6 million base prize pool, with the final amount potentially increasing through community contributions. TI15 will continue to use the Swiss-system format introduced for the group stage at the previous edition of The International.

The International 2026 Prize Pool
The base prize pool of the tournament is $1,600,000 USD. There is no Battle Pass or Compendium this year, players instead get a collection of rewards they could earn during the event. An additional 30% from all supporter bundle sales are added to the prize pool for the tournament ($1,237,730 USD contributed).
