Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev believes that Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen’s addition to
LGD Gaming’s Dota 2 roster will strengthen the team at The International 2026.
The player’s statement was posted on Telegram.
“Honestly, I think Topson is a boost for the team. In my view, he’s a highly skilled player: he’s been competing at The International his whole life, finishing in the top 3 and even taking first place. He’s definitely a boost, unlike that young player who’s never competed at The International and is still playing 322.
For me, Topson is several levels above Tailung. Even though he plays Dota every day, he really dedicates a lot of time to it. As for communication, it’s still unclear how things will work out for them. It’s important that everyone on the team speaks English well—that could be a minor issue.”
Acording to Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev, an experienced player who has regularly competed at The International will be much more valuable to the team than a novice esports player—especially one who has been caught playing 322. RAMZES666 believes that Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen hasn’t lost his form during his hiatus, as he has been practicing Dota 2 regularly. Nevertheless, the esports player doesn’t rule out the posibility that communication issues may arise within the team.
As a reminder, Alexander “Nix” Levin previously expressed skepticism about Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen’s move to
LGD Gaming’s Dota 2 roster.
