Malr1ne revealed the real reason behind Team Falcons' loss at Riyadh Masters 2024

Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak, who is a midlaner for Team Falcons, admitted that their loss at Riyadh Masters 2024 resulted from the current Dota 2 meta which they have not come to terms with.

He revealed this during a Twitch stream.

“We had some problems. The main causes were our poor form and insufficient knowledge of the patch. Such patches are Gladiators’ comfort zone. They play perfectly. I’m not saying they are low-skill players who only play through auras. Auras can be bought by any team. They just mastered them. Gladiators were simply a head and shoulders above all other teams”

According to Malr1ne, Team Falcons indeed had an opportunity to win the championship, however, players could not cope with the current patch as well as opponents who used aura meta to perfection.He also added that his team was not in best shape because of that.

It’s worth mentioning that this statement is consistent with what his teammate Oliver “Skiter” Lepko said as he mentioned how hard it has been for Team Falcons on the new patch as well.
