Stanislav "Malr1ne" Potorak, the midlaner of
Team Falcons, stated that Patch 7.35c did not globally change the meta, as the current hero nerfs are not sufficient for a significant shift in gameplay in Dota 2.
The esports player made this statement during a Twitch stream while commenting on the game update.
"The patch is actually ****. Not in the sense that it's bad, but overall, it didn't change the meta much. It fixed a bit. Some heroes, like Doom, for example, still feel ****. I would say it fixed but didn't kill"
Malr1ne explained that Patch 7.35c itself might not be bad, but it lacks global impact to influence the gameplay significantly. He also noted that the most affected heroes were
Doom and
Lion, but even after the changes, it feels more like a fix than a nerf.
"He's okay. And I said **** because it's not global—it's small enough, but it's enough. These micro-nerfs, like with Doom and Lion, are actually fine"
Recall that Valve recently released Patch 7.35c, addressing several bugs, weakening some heroes, and making changes to certain cosmetic items.
