Vladimir “Maelstorm” Kuzminov is disappointed by FISSURE CEO Nikolai Vesnin’s statement regarding the organization’s debts.
The commentator shared his opinion on Telegram.
“Why was all this written? Did you get upset and just want to vent? Might teams refuse to play? These aren’t rhetorical questions—I genuinely don’t understand the point of such a public outpouring. Pay off the debts—fine; don’t pay them off—you’ll shut down. Why write this?
Do you want people to treat you better? Start with yourself. Many facts came to light back then, and even more people took information with them, but no one stood up for the organization. NO ONE! There’s no point in recounting what I discussed with my colleagues—they should have spoken up themselves, but they didn’t.
But I didn’t see a single post in its defense, not a single person who said, “It was great to work there.” Why? Was it really not? Did everyone really have such terrible working conditions? No, because that was the attitude. There’s simply no need for such an admission—jobs are scarce, there will be others willing to take them, and these employees aren’t indispensable.
Without teams—death. Without sponsors—death. A couple of disgruntled employees—others will be found.
I wish you success; death won’t make things any better for anyone right now. Want more? Become a place where people dream of working, not where they’re forced to.”
According to a statement by Vladimir “Maelstorm” Kuzminov, FISSURE should focus on paying off its debts and restoring trust among industry participants, rather than on public discussions of the current situation. The commentator also drew attention to the organization’s attitude toward its employees, noting that for the studio’s further development, it is important to create conditions under which professionals will want to work there of their own accord.
As a reminder, FISSURE CEO Nikolai Vesnin previously issued a statement regarding the organization’s debts to CS and Dota 2 pro-scene teams.
