In the 9 Pandas team, there was a lack of cohesion, and conflicts arose among the players during The International 2023.

Gleb "Kiyotaka" Zyryanov, the midlaner of 9 Pandas, made this unexpected admission in an interview with Metaratings.

"At that time, there were some conflicts and misunderstandings in the team. We couldn't conduct productive work at the boot camp. Because of this, we didn't feel the meta, didn't adapt to it, plus the patch turned out to be not suitable for our team. My key heroes and MieRo's key heroes were not in the meta. Therefore, I think our form for TI12 was far from ideal"

The esports athlete admitted that the 9-12th place did not satisfy the team, but due to problems within the collective and the impact of the new patch, the lineup could hardly have shown a better result.

"Specifically in that patch and in the team atmosphere, I don't think we could have done more. Only if someone had improved dramatically a week before TI12, but that's in the realm of fantasy"

It's worth noting that after the conclusion of TI12, 9 Pandas practically disbanded, as even several managers left the organization. The new roster of the team received mockery from both fans and Dota 2 analysts.
