Insider: some Team Vitality players may go inactive

Aleksey “OverDrive” Biryukov shared info that several Team Vitality players might take a break from the CS2 pro scene in 2027.

He said this during a stream on YouTube.

“There are rumors that in about a year some Vitality players will take a pause — for half a year or even one or two seasons, but for now it’s just rumors”

He didn’t specify who exactly he was talking about, but noted that the info is about several Team Vitality players. He also said that the break could be quite long, from half a year up to two seasons

However, he himself pointed out that nothing is confirmed yet, so it’s possible the team has no such plans for next year. Also it’s unknown who would replace the players if they actually go inactive
